As Snowflake SELECT Partners, TaylorMade Software partnered with Citi to modernize and automate Snowflake infrastructure provisioning and team onboarding processes. Manual request handling had introduced bottlenecks, deployment inconsistencies, and onboarding delays across the cloud data platform.

We designed and deployed a self-service Snowflake automation portal using Spotify’s Backstage.io and a React UI, hosted on AWS EKS and RedHat OpenShift. This portal enabled teams to request and provision Snowflake infrastructure directly, reducing manual overhead by 40% and improving request turnaround by 30%.

On the backend, we implemented Java Spring Boot REST APIs backed by RDS MySQL and DynamoDB. The APIs integrated with Bitbucket and Jenkins to enable GitOps-driven Snowflake infrastructure automation using Terraform. This approach improved deployment consistency by 25% and reduced infrastructure errors by 20%.

For onboarding, we developed Camunda-based orchestration workflows and automated Terraform scripts to provision Snowflake roles, users, and warehouses. The result was a 50% reduction in onboarding time and a 35% improvement in operational efficiency for data teams.

By combining modern DevOps practices with Snowflake expertise, TaylorMade Software delivered a scalable automation framework that improved governance, speed, and reliability across Citi’s cloud data engineering lifecycle.
