Clarifire Angular Modernization and UAT Automation

Modernized AngularJS app with Selenium and Azure DevOps, improving UI speed and automating testing

TaylorMade Software partnered with Clarifire to modernize their Azure-hosted Clarifire Calculator app, migrating the frontend from AngularJS to the latest Angular version with Bootstrap integration. This upgrade reduced UI response time from 15 seconds to 3 seconds and addressed key async, logging, validation, and error-handling concerns.

We utilized Dynatrace and other profiling tools to identify and fix performance bottlenecks in the IIS-hosted web application. Additional optimizations were proposed to help the system reach sub-second responsiveness.

To improve quality assurance, we installed a Selenium UAT server in Azure and developed the first five automation scripts. These were integrated into the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline, reducing setup time by 40% and streamlining testing workflows. UAT testers were onboarded and mentored for long-term adoption.
