Encore Nationwide, a major modeling and talent staffing agency in Los Angeles, needed a complete modernization of their web and back-office systems. TaylorMade Software delivered two ASP.NET AJAX C# 3.5 web applications (Sales/Registration and Admin portals) and a WinForms thin client desktop tool for internal operations. The systems were designed from the ground up, including SQL Server schema design, stored procedures, and data access layers.
Working closely with Encore's design team, we translated visual comps into responsive CSS and HTML layouts while wiring up the front-end to custom data objects and logic. Legacy ASP code was reverse engineered to distill core business rules and re-implemented in a streamlined, maintainable way. Our test-driven approach ensured reliability and smooth deployment.
These new tools allowed Encore to better manage talent, bookings, and campaigns through intuitive web interfaces and robust backend processing, bringing new efficiency to their nationwide operations.
