Humatics, a robotics and industrial automation firm, needed a scalable, cloud-based time-series database (TSDB) to process telemetry and sensor data from robotic systems. TaylorMade Software delivered a full-stack solution, first as a PoC in DigitalOcean, then in AWS using Dockerized Ubuntu, Graphite, Carbon, Whisper, and Grafana.

The system integrated with ROSBag to stream and archive robotic telemetry, which was visualized using Grafana dashboards. TaylorMade implemented a high-availability AWS architecture and authored a Cloud Design Decision Matrix covering RPO/RTO/PTO trade-offs, which guided Humatics in selecting AWS as the target platform.

A novel telemetry feedback loop was implemented using a lightweight LLM-based analysis pipeline to identify patterns in robotic performance metrics. This closed-loop architecture enabled near-real-time optimization feedback to both operators and system designers, allowing the platform to evolve intelligently based on usage and anomaly detection.

To ensure cross-platform compatibility, the .NET AWS communication library was re-written in Mono and tested for deployment on Linux targets. The end result was a secure, scalable, analytics-ready TSDB environment tailored for robotics and manufacturing automation.
