Principled Strategies provides researchers with access to sensitive medical datasets in a highly secure, anonymized cleanroom environment. TaylorMade Software was engaged to modernize their Dynamics CRM and business intelligence infrastructure to align with stringent data governance and confidentiality requirements.
We refactored and validated Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM environments maintained in Team Foundation Server (TFS), resolving version mismatches and regression bugs introduced by Microsoft platform updates. A dual-instance model (PD1 and PD2) was implemented to support multi-client operations through a unified CRM codebase.
To streamline operations, we authored a robust data synchronization playbook enabling secure, direct SQL Server integration between CRM instances and the Azure-hosted backend. SSRS reports and custom stored procedures powered statistical reporting and analytical workflows for authorized researchers.
The environment was hardened using Sophos full-disk encryption and strict exfiltration prevention policies. All Azure virtual machines were configured to ensure data could not be exported from the environment without being rendered encrypted and unreadable. We also supported Outlook CRM plugin deployment to enhance secure collaboration.
