Challenge: Custom/Prototype video editing package for trade show deadline
Result: Delphi development beats C++
For a trade show deadline, Newsmaker was developing a new video editing package integrated with their 24-hour news systems. A German team was working in C++ to create the timeline video editing tool. In order to hedge risk, Newsmaker contracted with TaylorMade Software to create the same tool. Working in Delphi, TaylorMade Software developed the timeline video editing tool in half the time, beating the German team to market.
